Whale Done

Hello! Glad you came to visit.

It has been so hot, I decided to work with a stamp set that makes me think of nice, cool, wonderful water and a beach!

Whale Done is my focus this week. It is one of my favorite stamp sets in the new catalog. It has some nice sayings, a seahorse, jelly fish, a very nice whale and last but not least a sea turtle! Whale of a Time designer series paper has some really nice designs that go with the stamp set. It is so easy to pick a paper, pick a stamp and you're just about done with a card.

My first card this week using this set focuses on the sea turtle. I found this card on the internet and saved a picture so I could make it. After putting the card together, I tried to trace my steps to find the designer and I did not have any luck at all. So if it's you, I do apologize for not giving you the credit. I LOVE your card. I pretty much stamped it just like her original. She did not show her inside, so I was on my own. I stamped a coral in calypso coral! I took these pictures with the cards sitting on a piece of Granny Apple cardstock. It is not part of the card.

Details:
Card base Pacific Point 5 1/2 x 4 1/4
Whale of a Time DSP (Sea Turtles) 5 1/4 x 3 1/4
Whale of a Time DSP (Seaweed) 5 1/4 x 3/4 (This is right snug up against the other paper)

Cut the sea turtle out of another piece of the Whale of a Time DSP and pop it up on dimensionals.

Stamp the sentient from Rooted in Nature stamp set using Pacific Point ink. Fussy cut and add to front.

I added a few pieces of bling.

That's it!

If you want to make your own card, you can find all of the supplies HERE.

What a wonderful, fun card to send to someone to encourage.

Blessings,
Vickie
